Research what it is your getting into - the Interent has many uses, let it be your first port of call when researching a company of scheme.
Use reliable resources to gain your background information - Don't take for granted the first thing you read or hear about an opportunity. This also means, don't let lazy Lenny tell you something doesn't pay just because he couldn't get out of bed to make his own breakfast.
Beware the cynics and the 'Dream Stealers' - do not be put off by the jealous, play it safe brigade. Take calculated risks and dare to be different from the norm. After all 95% of the population are only spending 5% of the wealth.
Go 'Ethical' - in this capitalist, money grabbing world of greed and exploitation, getting into a business that 'gives a bit back' and has a caring approach will be a unique selling point (USP) for a long time to come.
Commit! No one ever achieved anything with half a heart. Once you make your decision.. Go Fot It!!!
Always beware of the man who is getting more out of your efforts than you are - isn't that why you 'sacked your boss' in the first place?
There are more than one way to skin a cat.... Find what works for you and work to your strengths. Nobody knows your capabilities and limitations better than yourself!
Plan ahead... short term. mid term, long term... end of!
Decide who you are doing it for. Is it a personal thing, for your family or for financial freedom... whatever the reason, keep it real and maintain your vision.
And finally... Live the Dream!!!
